Day 01 : Arrival in Bujumbura and City Tour

Upon arrival at Bujumbura International Airport, your professional driver-guide welcomes you and transfers you into the city for a cultural introduction to Burundi. From there, you head to Rusizi National Park, where a boat cruise on the Rusizi River reveals hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. You then watch the river merge with Lake Tanganyika before climbing Belvedere Hill for sweeping views over Bujumbura. Next, you visit the historic meeting point of explorers Burton and Livingstone, followed by the independence heroes’ monuments. Afterward, you return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
